We are currently recruiting for a Technical Writing Specialist Asset Engineering on a permanent basis. This role will be based within the Essential Energy footprint with the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment.
About the Role
As the Technical Writing Specialist Asset Engineering you will be responsible for producing clear accurate and accessible documentation and technical communications that supports the safe and compliant operation of Essential Energys electrical distribution network assets.
Youll work closely with subject matter experts across engineering compliance and field operations to ensure documentation reflects current practices and regulatory requirements. Your work will support operational excellence training and continuous improvement by aligning documentation with asset lifecycle management ISO standards and industry best practice.

About You
You are a detail-oriented communicator with a passion for translating complex technical information into clear user-friendly documentation. You bring experience in technical writing within engineering or utilities and a strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and asset management. Your ability to engage with stakeholders and manage multiple documentation projects makes you a valuable contributor to the team.
Qualifications
Required:
Advanced Diploma in Business or demonstrated capability through past employment experience.
