Corporate Development is responsible for leading and supporting Prudentials strategic growth agenda by identifying and executing on inorganic and major strategic partnership projects. As a Group Manager the candidate is expected to support the development of the inorganic strategy identify potential acquisition targets and manage and execute the transactions.Key Accountabilities
- Target screening due diligence and valuation
- Clear articulation of deal value (base case and synergies) and potential deal breakers
- Work closely with different functional experts including Risk Legal Finance and Tax
- Strong project management
- Maintain solid relationships with external advisers to draw upon external help as needed
- Robust quantitative analysis
- Market intelligence to support decision making
- Practical solutions on structures and arrangements to achieve our strategic and financial objectives
- Support the development of high quality Exco materials to facilitate decision-making
Key Competencies
- At least 10 years of working experience. Previous experience in M&A preferred
- Bachelors degree
- Strong commercial acumen
- Effective communication influencing and negotiation skills
- Work collaboratively with other relevant functions as one team
