What Youll Do
In this role youll oversee the day-to-day functions of accounting helping ensure smooth operations timely reporting and reliable financial insights that empower informed decision-making. Youll be a trusted partner to the CFO and department managers supporting our shared goal of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and support the Accounting team with a focus on accuracy collaboration and professional growth.
- Oversee financial reporting to ensure timely complete and compliant monthly quarterly and annual statements.
- Manage accounts payable receivable payroll and cash control with attention to detail and process efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with tax audit and regulatory requirements making full use of favorable tax strategies.
- Maintain and improve systems and internal controls that promote financial integrity and efficiency.
- Support the CFO with reports analyses and special projects that strengthen the companys financial operations.
- Foster strong relationships across departments through clear professional and respectful communication.
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Economics (MBA a plus).
- CPA or CFA certification required.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting management experience.
- Experience in the construction industry is highly valued.
- Familiarity with CMiC or similar accounting systems preferred.
- Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
- A steady team-oriented approach with the ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple projects.
