THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to support the operations our game development studios and subsidiaries of KRAFTON Inc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experience in IT systems engineering and operations with a focus on both on-premises and cloud environments
• Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
• Windows 10/11 Windows Server Linux and macOS administration supporting clients as well as tier 1 LAN/WAN support
• Supporting applications common to the gaming industry such as Unreal Engine Perforce Parsec and VPN
• Onsite 5 days a week and will need to coordinate with Krafton Global Offices
• Procurement and Asset Management manage the local IT departments software and hardware procurement including user technology purchase requests
• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
• Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
• Audio Visual support such as with projectors and conferencing equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years of experience working in an IT support related role
• BS in Computer Science MIS or similar fieldpreferred certain technology certifications and/or adequate work experience can be used in place of a degree
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac Operating Systems and Application support
• Strong knowledge of networking principles and technologies (DNS DHCP VLANs firewalls)
• Experience with Perforce and Unreal Engine in a game development environment
• Experience in incident management change management and device management (Jamf Intune MS SCCM)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting
• Ability to lift pull and/or carry up to 50lbs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Juniper and Palo Alto experience
• Microsoft or equivalent systems engineering certification
• Video gaming industry experience

In California the expected salary range for this position is $67000-$84000. The listed expected salary range represents a good faith estimate and the actual pay may depend on a variety of job-related factors that can include experience education skills and location.
