Our client is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join their kitchen team for the summer season through April. Situated in the heart of the beautiful Winelands their restaurant celebrates fresh seasonal ingredients and modern country cuisine.
Location: Winelands Western Cape
Contract: Seasonal (Now April)

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Maintain high standards of food quality presentation and consistency
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
Assist with menu planning stock control and kitchen administration
Ensure hygiene safety and cleanliness standards are met at all times

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a high-quality kitchen
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Passion for local seasonal produce and creative cuisine
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Available immediately or within short notice
