About KBTX:

KBTX Media operates the CBS and CW affiliates in Bryan-College Station Texas serving an 18-county area known as the Brazos Valley. For nearly 70 years weve been the dominant choice for local news and entertainment. Our team produces about 40 hours of original content each week across our broadcast and streaming platforms.

Job Summary/Description:

KBTX Media is seeking an organized meticulously detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support for our national and regional sales accounts. Responsibilities include assisting the National Sales Manager and local Media Executives as well as serving as a backup for all account traffic instructions.

This position will also assist with account management including order entry order management post-buy analysis client communication and follow-up along with all other duties associated with account management.

The ideal candidate will be trained for the position but must possess the following characteristics: positive attitude self-motivation professional appearance excellent communication and time management skills ability to multitask and meet daily deadlines and work well within a team.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist with all station account management with special focus on national/regional accounts
Provide support to sales management and the sales team for order entry in the WideOrbit Traffic system
Daily maintenance of all national/regional contract orders revisions additions etc.
Daily makegood and preemption reconciliation including sending makegood offers
Local and network program change notifications
Communication with agencies including providing make-good offers pre- or post-spot placement reports confirmation of contracts late-run notifications research credit requests or contract discrepancies
Assist with daily log reconciliation
Assist with daily traffic and copy maintenance as needed
Assist with all political advertising contracts and FCC political file upkeep
Assist with advanced log maintenance to allow for maximum use of inventory or provide advanced program change notifications/make-good offers

Qualifications/Requirements:

Applicant must be detail-oriented and proficient in accurate data entry
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask while meeting daily deadlines
Work well in a fast-paced environment prioritizing and managing time wisely
Be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint
Prior experience and working knowledge of Wide Orbit Traffic systems is a plus
Possess a valid drivers license dependable mode of transportation with vehicle insurance and a clean driving record
Sales experience is not required; however the motivation to become a member of one of the top-selling sales teams in the region is important.
Associates Degree or Four-Year Degree in related field preferred but not required
