What youll do:
- Models and builds a safety culture consistent with 3twentys values.
- Continue to develop and implement existing health and safety programs including standard operating procedures policies and training.
- Maintain project incident reporting and data collection systems conduct investigations and ensure that corrective action(s) are completed expediently.
- Manage Workers Compensation Board (WCB) claims and guide return-to-work plans.
- Create strong working relationships with site superintendents and project managers to ensure work is designed and implemented safely.
- Travel to project sites on an occasional basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who youll work with:
The Team: You will collaborate closely with our field team Lead Hands Site Superintendents Operations Manager Ownership and the People Strategy Lead to ensure the safe execution of projects.
What youll bring:
- An associate degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or related field) is considered an asset.
- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) or Construction Safety Officer (CSO) Designation is required.
- 5 or more years of related experience. Construction experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint Excel).
- Ability to work independently and take the initiative to identify tasks.
- A valid Drivers License is required.
