Job Summary
Provide Commercial & Industrial program management oversight over scope schedule and budget of energy efficiency projects in compliance with the BPU Order and PSEG procedures. Ensure projects meet all program requirements including project scope and cost will need to be familiar with residential and commercial energy efficiency program incentive structures.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the processes for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs in accordance with requirements forEngineered Solutions and otherBPU approved programs.
- Interface with PSEG associates vendors customers and outside consultants to assure the Program rules and requirements are maintained the projects are cost effective and the information needed for management and regulatory reporting is accurate and timely.
- Coordinate and direct the activities of vendors and contractors.
- Review vendor deliverables.
- Monitor vendor performance and review/process vendor invoices.
- Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required
- Apply knowledge in energy savings measures and techniques to program and project oversight.
- Perform project site visits as required
- Compile and analyze data from various projects / sources to monitor the status of customer projects and report to management.
- Projects may include the installation of various energy conservation measures (ECMs) such as HVAC lighting motors energy management systems etc. as appropriate for the program.
- Analyze performance results for management reports; Provide monthly project status forecasts;
- Workindependently while maintaining and applying working knowledge of PSEG Standards of Business Controls and meet managements expectations for effective internal business controls.
- Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure vendor and employee compliance with safety protocols and practices.
Job Specific Qualifications
- B.S. Degree plus 5 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs construction vendor management project management or related fields.
- In lieu of a degree 9 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs construction vendor management project management or related fields.
- Knowledge of Commercial & Industrial Energy Efficiency programs.
- Experience processing milestone based construction payments and forecasting financial spend.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency measures implementation and cost.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint Excel & MS Word).
- Commitment to process improvement and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of PSEGs CEF energy efficiency order and related frameworks such as the NJ Cost Test Able to travel within PSE&G territory to conduct meetings with customers perform inspections and manage relationships with contractors.
- Department of Energys regulation 10 CFR 810 is required
- Valid US drivers license
