As our sustained growth continues we are looking for an Undergraduate Accountant to join our team. Undergraduates have the ability work flexibly by way of 3 days/week to fit in study commitments. The successful candidate will be well organised and analytical by nature and passionate about pursuing a career in accounting. Its a great chance to kick-start your career by learning from great mentors in a qualified high-performing and supportive team that will provide you exposure to a diverse range of projects processes and systems.
You will embody an Inspirational approach to work.
What you will do:
- Preparation and posting of the monthly project recharges
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Preparation of monthly BAS
- Preparation of monthly general ledger reconciliations
- Monthly bank reconciliation
- Monthly credit card reconciliation
- Preparation of weekly and ad hoc payment runs
- Jobpac system administration
What you will bring:
- Currently undertaking (or about to commence) a commerce accounting or finance based degree
- Moderate-to-strong level of proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word
- Passion for accounting and numbers with a keen learning mindset
- Able to work autonomously and within a team
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- An eye for detail and planning ahead
- Strong collaboration interpersonal and communication skills
- A can do attitude
