Job Summary

Provides academic instruction and student academic support for assigned classes; performs tasks designed to ensure the quality and consistency of academic instruction; develops instructional methods for their assigned course(s) which pertain to the course(s) learning outcomes and course catalog description; adheres to college policies and procedures.

Job Summary: Adjunct faculty are part-time (classroom or on-line) faculty hired to teach on a semester basis.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree* with two years of clinical experience
*Program accreditation may dictate minimum requirement which may include a Bachelors or Masters degree

Licensing Requirements: PA ACT 15

Allied Health - Bachelors degree and five years clinical experience

Cardiovascular Technology - Bachelors degree credentialed in speciality

Dental Assisting - CDA certified Bachelors degree in related field 2 years work experience

Dental Hygiene - Bachelors degree 2 years work experience DH and Anesthesia licenses

Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Associate degree 2 years work experience RDMS (AB and OBGYN) credential

Healthcare Mgmt - MBA MHA or related degree 3 years work experience

Health - Masters degree in Health Public Health Health Education or related degree 1 year teaching experience

Medical Assisting - Associate degree 2 years work experience MA credential

Medical Laboratory Technician - Bachelors degree and ASCP certification

Radiologic Technology - Bachelors degree 2 years work experience certification as RADT

Radiology Infomatics - Bachelors degree 3 years work experience

Respiratory Therapy - Bachelors degree 2 years clinical experience RRT certification

Surgical Technology - Associates degree 2 years work experience CST credential

Wellness and Health Promotion - Masters degree 1 year teaching experience 1 year working in wellness and health promotion setting
