Job Summary
The General Manager will lead and oversee all operations in the Philippines in partnership with Global Shared Services leadership ensuring strategic alignment with global objectives while driving local business growth and operational excellence. This role requires a proactive strategic leader with strong business acumen cultural awareness and the ability to manage cross-functional teams. The General Manager will be accountable for performance compliance and fostering a positive high-performing work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the country strategy in partnership with Global Shared Services leadership to achieve growth profitability and operational targets.
In collaboration with Global Shared Services leadership review and influence budgets financial performance and resource allocation to meet business objectives.
Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations ensuring efficiency compliance and adherence to company policies and local regulations.
Talent Management: Partner with HR and Global Shared Services leadership to recruit develop and retain top talent; build a high-performing engaged workforce.
Business Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients partners vendors and government agencies.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with local laws labor regulations and corporate governance standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global and regional teams including Global Shared Services leadership to align strategies and deliver results.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends competitor activities and regulatory changes to identify risks and opportunities.
Brand & Culture Champion: Promote and uphold company values culture and brand reputation in the local market.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management or related field (Masters/MBA preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience.
Proven track record in managing large teams and driving business growth in a multinational shared services captive center or similar environment.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong strategic thinking financial acumen and decision-making skills.
Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure compliance.
High adaptability and cultural sensitivity in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with digital tools for business operations.

Travel: Up to 10% (including international travel).
Autonomy: Operates with significant independence; expected to make strategic decisions and manage risks with minimal oversight
