We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our growing engineering team at NXGEN Technology AG. In this role you will develop and maintain backend systems and APIs that power our cloud-based security and monitoring solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps data engineers and product managers to deliver scalable secure and high-performance software components.
Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development: Design build and maintain Python-based backend applications and APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI Flask or Django.
Cloud Integration: Develop integrations with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) third-party services and IoT devices.
Data Processing: Work with large-scale data pipelines and real-time data for analytics and AI/ML applications.
Optimization: Ensure code performance scalability and reliability in production environments.
Code Quality: Write clean modular and well-documented code following best practices.
Collaboration: Work with front-end DevOps and QA teams to deliver end-to-end product solutions.
Code Review: Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 5 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Python and frameworks like FastAPI Flask or Django.
Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
Working knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL MongoDB or similar).
Experience with Git and agile development workflows.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
