TeHerenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an Inclusive Technology Assistant to join the Te Amaru - Disability Services team on a fixed-term part-time basis.
The Inclusive Technology Assistant will work 15 hours a week from 21 January until 09 October 2026.
Key responsibilities:
Ō pūmanawa - About you
Key requirements:
- Availability between 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday 15 hours per week regular schedule to be agreed upon.
- Commitment to application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in an educational context.
- Proven experience in delivering high quality training and tutoring.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems (Windows and Apple preferably) and common software packages (such as Microsoft Office and browser-based apps) and database systems.
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving and trouble shooting.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to provide plain language explanations of technical concepts and easy to follow instruction in-person and in written documentation.
- Proven experience in adapting to change and influencing others to create change.
