Job Description:
This position is ideal for a creative student who enjoys storytelling through photography and has a passion for documenting meaningful events on campus and in the Waco community.
Responsibilities:
Photograph Center events workshops and conferences on the Baylor campus and occasionally in the local community (typically 46 hours per week).
Capture candid posed and environmental shots that reflect inclusion collaboration and the spirit of the Centers work.
Edit and organize photos for use in digital print and social media communications.
Coordinate with the Media & Communications Manager to plan coverage and deliver images in a timely manner.
Ensure all work aligns with Baylor Universitys brand and accessibility standards.
Qualifications
Current Baylor University student in good academic standing.
Experience in photography (coursework portfolio or relevant experience preferred).
Strong skills in photo editing software (e.g. Adobe Lightroom Photoshop).
Excellent time management and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and professionally at events.
Interest in inclusive storytelling or disability awareness is a plus.
Work Hours and Compensation
Approximately 10 hours per week (hours vary by event schedule).
Hourly rate commensurate with Baylor student employment guidelines.
Some evening or weekend work may be required depending on event timing.
