With a healthy pipeline of live projects and a growing commercial portfolio were looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team. Youll play a key role in driving the commercial performance of projectsensuring accurate forecasting cost control and contract compliance while contributing to Kapitols reputation for excellence.
Working alongside Project Managers Site Teams and Contract Administrators youll take ownership of end-to-end financial management across live projectsfrom procurement and reporting through to final accounts.

What youll do:
- Prepare assess and negotiate progress claims variations and final accounts.
- Prepare and submit head contract variations and related documentation to clients.
- Assess negotiate and finalise subcontractor variations to maintain commercial accuracy.
- Support cost forecasting budget control and value management throughout project delivery.
- Conduct risk reviews and ensure compliance with commercial procedures and governance frameworks.
- Provide accurate timely financial reporting and insights to the project team.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Contract Administrators to maintain strong commercial performance.
- Participate in project reviews identifying opportunities to optimise financial outcomes.
What youll bring:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or related field.
- Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying or Contract Administration role within commercial construction.
- Sound understanding of cost management subcontractor administration and construction contracts.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly proficient in cost management systems (e.g. Jobpac Cheops Excel Bluebeam).
