First Dakota National Bank is hiring a full-time Fraud Prevention Assistant to join our Sioux Falls team. Assist in the ongoing monitoring of fraudulent activities and participate in efforts to prevent fraud losses on behalf of the bank and our customers. Will also split time assisting with general Risk Management Department activities. This may include participating in credit reviews documentation reviews lender authority reviews social engineering testing and other duties as assigned. Hours include Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00.
Duties
- Analyze daily reports and alerts to identify fraudulent and suspicious activity.
- Conduct fraud investigations coordinating efforts across multiple teams and collaborating with external entities as required.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to address and remediate fraudulent activity.
- Manage fraud cases including comprehensive documentation of investigation and action steps.
- Assist with developing and executing comprehensive fraud prevention strategies and policies to safeguard the banks assets and customers accounts.
- Assist with training programs for bank employees to raise awareness of fraud prevention best practices.
- Assist with developing fraud newsletters to communicate emerging fraud trends losses and prevention efforts.
- Assist with fraud risk management processes and procedures and relevant revisions to mitigate identified risks.
- Assist in the Social Engineering Internal Testing process and management of KnowBe4 platform.
- Assist in preparation of branch and/or horizontal loan reviews. This may include preparing line sheets for each credit gathering credit approval documents and any other information that would be helpful in conducting the loan reviews such as past due non-accrual and overdraft reports.
- Assist in the loan review process by reviewing selected loans for compliance with loan policy the approval process laws and regulations.
- Assess selected loans for appropriate documentation general underwriting monitoring and performance and risk rating accuracy.
- Assist in the compiling of Risk Management Summary Reports.
- Complete lender authority reviews.
- Assist CRO with OREO monitoring including insurance tracking and issuance.
- Assist with the compilation of data for the quarterly analysis of the Allowance for Credit Losses.
- Assist in the compilation of information regarding compliance with the banks lending policy.
- Assist in completion of large loan pre-closing documentation reviews.
- Assist in completion of entity documentation reviews.
- Assist Senior Fraud Prevention Officer and SVP of Risk Management with other duties as necessary.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). College degree preferred.
