32Annual Nurse Intern Program Summer 2026
Program Dates: May 26 August 2 2026
Qualifications: To be considered for the Nurse Intern program you must meet the following qualifications:
1. Must be qualified to graduate from a baccalaureate nursing program or associate nursing program by December 2026 or May 2027 following the summer internship.
2. Hold one of the following active certifications/licenses:
3. Active CPR certification: Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands-on learning) from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross and State of Iowa Mandatory Reporter-Dependent Adult and Child Abuse certifications.
4. Commitment to work 30-36 hours per week for 10 weeks. Interns can expect to work all shifts including Days PMs and nights along with weekend and holiday rotations.
To be considered for this program please submit the following requirements by January 16 2026:
1. Complete the online application in its entirety including screenshots of your CPR and CNA certifications.
2. Attach a professional resume including high school with graduation date and anticipated future graduation date from your nursing program.
