Description

As a product support test and adjust technician in Clayton NC you will work in an environment that supports this role you will demonstrate an advanced mechanical aptitude by performing re-work on quality defects supporting design engineers by gathering data for research and evaluations and using various tools in the work area to perform assembly duties. You will demonstrate an ability to follow standard work. You will demonstrate leadership with your ability to work independently problem solve multitask and prioritize work.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Basic Qualifications

1 year of machine assembly experience
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Application

Top Candidates will also have

Basic machine operation skills
Experience reading blueprints
Some machine rework experience
Strong commitment to safety quality and teamwork
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Advanced problem solving and trouble shooting ability
Ability to multitask and prioritize work
Knowledge of Caterpillar systems

Additional Information

Shift: 1st Shift

Hours: M-Th 6 a.m. 4:30 p.m. Overtime as business needs require on Friday
