Job Summary
As an Optical Metrology Engineer you will be working on development of optical metrology and lens metrology. The work will include collaboration and perform hands-on work with various optical metrology equipment. Work with cross-functional team to develop innovative optical metrology systems. Analysis of the optical element impact to the image quality characteristics of the development of advanced metrology methods.
- 3 years of technical experience in conceptualizing and designing the measurement mechanisms grounded in a comprehensive understanding of the principles specifications and operational procedures of optical metrology instruments including MTF testers and interferometers.
- 3 years of technical experience in the field of optical measurement methodologies and characterization.
- 3 years of extensive experience in utilizing CAD software for 3D modeling and drafting.
- Effective in both written and verbal communication in Japanese and English.
- Good knowledge of fundamental principle in wide field of optical metrology including MTF and interferometry
- Experience with scientific computing languages for data analysis or simulation (Ex. Python Matlab C/C)
- Experienced in measurement data analysis by using statistical methods
- Experience in manufacturing assembly testing failure analysis of optical components or modules
