About us:

At Home Veterinary seeks an experienced veterinary technician who is energetic fun friendly organized and attentive to detail with experience restraining and working with animals for medical procedures. This position is a fast-paced job with tons of direct interaction with pets and owners in their homes. You will work side-by-side with a friendly and experienced veterinarian.

We are a busy veterinary practice that specializes in house calls for dogs and cats. We provide high-quality and compassionate care for our patients and professional concierge-level service for our clients all in the clients homes in the greater Boston and MetroWest area.

Schedule and Location

The schedule is full-time with 910-hour days though occasionally you will swap and work a different weekday or a weekend day to help cover a team members time off.

You will begin and end your day in Boston - South End. (Occasionally youll be asked to assist other veterinarians on our team based elsewhere in the area or in our Natick office.)

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

You will spend your day riding along with the veterinarian and assisting at all particular youll help hold animals for procedures (including exams blood draws urine collection etc.) and assist the vet with all other aspects of the visit (preparing vaccines reviewing records entering notes and charges in the computer interacting with clients etc.). Previous veterinary experience is important! The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a veterinary assistant or technician.

Strong computer skills as well as fast and accurate typing are important qualifications.

Pay and Benefits
