We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Analyst to support the Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) Drivetrain this role you will ensure compliance with the enterprise and business divisions ethical standards and examines any non-compliance issues including the evaluation and examination of the adequacy of internal controls. This is a great opportunity to work at a facility and get close to the product while being a trusted advisor to management.

What You Will Do:

  • Design and implement daily procedures and review/assess activities against internal control standards
  • Direct and participate in the risk and compliance education of the organization ensuring ongoing and follow up education including regulations policies procedures and trends
  • Develop initiate and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the business units compliance program and its related activities
  • Identify potential risk and compliance vulnerabilities; develop corresponding corrective action plans for resolution of these issues and provide guidance for use in future situation

What You Have:

  • Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Accounting and considerable risk & compliance experience desired
  • Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand monitor update control or enhance existing business or work processes
  • Risk Management: Knowledge of processes tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organizations exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients vendors and peers
  • Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan organize monitor and control projects ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives
  • Audit and Compliance Function: Knowledge of major responsibilities and tasks of Audit and Compliance (A&C) function; ability to manage the operation of A&C function in various business environment
  • Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Prior experience in risk and compliance including control testing.
  • Previous experience with Power BI/other Power Apps

Additional Info:

  • The primary location for this position is East Peoria IL
  • This role requires 5 days a week in office
  • Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify

  • International and Domestic travel up to 10%

Summary Pay Range:

$110520.00 - $165840.00
