Job Summary

  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality.

  • Warmly welcome and bid farewell to all guests and visitors.
  • Take ownership of all tasks priorities and issues during your shift.
  • Lead and coordinate Commissionaires Porters Valets and Bell Captains on shift.
  • Provide accurate helpful information to guests always offering to find answers when needed.
  • Manage guest messages parcels and deliveries promptly and accurately.
  • Stay informed on daily activities VIPs special events and hotel operations.
  • Safely manage and return the hotel master key when used.
  • Oversee the Concierge desk and provide seamless service in the absence of the Head Concierge.
  • Represent the hotel professionally at all times including at events.
  • Collaborate closely with Reception Guest Relations Reservations and service teams to ensure smooth guest experiences.
  • Assist guests with city info theatres tours dining transportation and current events.
  • Promote and sell hotel services including dining tours and transportation.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners (e.g. taxis car hires restaurants).
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Sydney to provide expert guidance to guests.
  • Manage petty cash stamp float and concierge keys responsibly.
  • Recognize and greet regular and media guests by name delivering service that exceeds expectations.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in a luxury hospitality or high-end customer service environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and anticipate guest needs.
  • Strong knowledge of local attractions restaurants events and transport options.
  • Experience handling VIP and high-profile clientele with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Sales skills to promote hotel services tours and experiences.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems and standard office software.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanor.
  • Comfortable working a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays to ensure seamless operations.
