Job Summary

Pullman Adelaide part of the Accor Group is proud to partner with Amplar Health Home Hospital to deliver exceptional care through the Transition Care Service (TCS). As a Food Services Coordinator you will play a vital role in supporting guests wellbeing by delivering warm professional and personalized food service experiences bringing the heart of hospitality into a healthcare setting.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dedicated team within one of Adelaides premier hotels where luxury meets compassion and every meal becomes part of the healing journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient menu selections in collaboration with Amplar Health clinical staff and Pullman Adelaides culinary team ensuring dietary preferences and medical restrictions are accurately accommodated.
  • Deliver meals to dedicated floors with warmth professionalism and a genuine sense of care
  • Oversee the preparation of mise en place and service trays in coordination with the stewarding and STC teams ensuring timely and organized delivery to rooms and supporting guests during mealtimes with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all food service areas in close collaboration with the Food Safety Supervisor ensuring strict adherence to infection control protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with TCS and dietary staff regarding guests needs or concerns while also coordinating and relaying relevant information to the culinary team to ensure seamless service and accurate meal delivery.
  • Manage supplies and equipment dedicated to TCS ensuring smooth daily operations by monitoring inventory levels coordinating maintenance needs and promptly reporting any malfunctions or service disruptions.
  • Uphold Pullman Service Standardsevery interaction every detail every day

You understand that every detail matters and your commitment to excellence helps create a safe welcoming and healing experience for those in transition care.

Skills and Attributes

  • A caring people-focused attitude with a genuine desire to support others
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across hospitality and healthcare teams
  • Proven administrative skills including attention to detail task coordination and record-keeping
    • Ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced setting
    • Previous experience in hospitality or healthcare (preferred but not essential)
    • A collaborative spirit and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
    • Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
    • Hold (or be eligible to obtain) a South Australian Working with Vulnerable People Check and National Police Clearance
    • Full Time Working Rights in Australia
