**This role is labeled hybrid and will require on-site attendance at Fifth Avenue Place in Pittsburgh PA.**
GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Incumbent is responsible for the successful implementation of the AHN enterprise-wide Quality and Safety goals and objectives for designated locations. Oversees the Institute Quality Safety and Regulatory/Accreditation function while working in tandem with other Quality and Safety network functions such as Patient Safety Infection Prevention Regulatory Preparedness and Data Analytics & reporting. Accountable for driving results to achieve top performance for all clinical patient safety accreditation and regulatory preparedness which may include but are not limited to: CLIA certificates PA Bureau of Labs and NY State DOH permits CAP accreditation or NY State Lab licensure. Responsible for driving and/or supporting Lean improvement efforts to realize efficiencies and maximized resource utilization. Role functions in a matrixed environment with network quality safety and regulatory department directors and Pathology Institute VP Operations and/or Chair.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS:
Lab Professional Certification from an accredited institution or equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the requirement defined in the CLIA regulation 42CFR493.1489 (obtain within 1 year)
