JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Operations Specialist Employee Benefits WholesaleDivision is a part time position that will focus on a special project to strengthen sales distribution effectiveness and elevate client service delivery. The specialist will design and implement streamlined sales processes build a structured approach to new client implementation and enhance ongoing client service workflows. The ultimate goal is to create a scalable repeatable and measurable framework that enables growth while ensuring high client satisfaction.
This is a project-based temporary role working 25 hours per week with an estimated duration of 3 6 months with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
The Sales Operations Specialist Employee Benefits WholesaleDivision is expected to complete three core deliverables:
1. Sales Operations Playbook
2. Client Implementation Guide
3. Client Services Framework along with implementation support and training sessions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Process Optimization:
Audit current sales operations identify gaps and inefficiencies.
Design and document a standardized sales process flow aligned with WGATs distribution model.
Implement reporting dashboards pipeline tracking and performance metrics (KPIs).
Deliver a Sales Operations Playbook for internal teams.
New Client Implementation Framework:
Develop a structured onboarding and transition process from sales to implementation.
Build a toolkit of templates checklists and client communication plans.
Review and update all related forms and audit underwriting requirements for market
Pilot the process with at least one new client to validate effectiveness.
Deliver a New Client Implementation Guide for repeatable execution.
Ongoing Client Services Enhancements:
Map current service workflows identify pain points and recommend improvements.
Establish service-level standards and escalation protocols.
Design tools for renewals reporting and proactive client engagement.
Deliver a Client Services Framework that integrates with sales and implementation.
Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree
5 years experience in sales operations and process design ideally within insurance health benefits or trust/association distribution or equivalent combination of education and experience
1-2 years experience leading client onboarding and service delivery redesign projects.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales leadership client service teams and carrier/underwriter partners.
Computer skills: advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Outlook agency management systems customer relationship management systems and data visualization.
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate orally and in writing with internal and external customers.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
Critical Thinking: Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems.
Ability to respond to customer needs solicit customer feedback to improve service and handle difficult or emotional customer situations promptly and accurately.
Ability to effectively work with a team and coach others in developing their skills and abilities.
Ability to efficiently gather pertinent information and facts analyze and solve problems timely and thoroughly.
Problem Solving: Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks and responsibilities in order to complete assignments on time and with optimal accuracy.
Computer skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Outlookand agency management systems.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands
This position primarily involves remaining in a stationary position for the majority of the workday.
The person in this position frequently communicates with colleagues and clients both in person and on the telephone; Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets office machinery etc.
he expected salary range for this part time position is $50.00 to $75.00/hr depending on geographical location and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
