The Role:

Our Project & Development Services (PDS) business line has a key role in managing the National Program Service (NPS) Package for the Defence Estate Works Program (EWP). The Program Analyst role will support data-driven program development and reporting for the EWP

Duties include but not limited to

• Support the development and maintenance of the EWP Prioritisation Matrix
• Analyse project data assess risks complexities and viability to inform program decision making
• Develop and enhance program reporting capabilities to support continuous improvement
• Assist in analysing Requirements and bundling activities using machine learning and natural language processing tools
• Support the coordination of prioritisation activities for Potential Projects
• Prepare program update reports and analyse trends to inform program development
• Utilise advanced analytics to track program and project performance against baselines
• Work closely with the Digital Operations team to integrate data from various sources
• Support the Program Development team in developing comprehensive reports for Defence
• Liaise with stakeholders to gather feedback and input for program improvement initiatives
• Assist in accurate reporting on aspects of the EWP

What you will bring:

• Baseline Clearance (or the ability to obtain this ie: Australian Citizenship) is mandatory for this position
• A degree in a relevant field such as data analytics statistics business analysis or related discipline
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in data analysis program/project analysis or similar role
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Power BI Excel and other analytics platforms
• Experience in interpreting complex data sets and converting insights into actionable recommendations
• Proficiency with program management software and digital collaboration tools
• Ability to work with machine learning and natural language processing outputs
• Understanding of program management methodologies and best practices
• Ability to analyse trends identify patterns and develop insights to support decision-making
• Experience in developing and presenting analytical reports to stakeholders
• Demonstrated success in aligning program objectives with organisational strategic goals
• Proficiency in software applications commonly used in project and program management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
