Horticulturist

This full-time hands-on leadership position will see you working within our City of Sydney team ensuring tasks are completed to the highest possible standards that exceed our clients expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading a team of garden maintenance staff ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
• Follow schedules and prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities including planting hedging weeding pruning and fertilising.
• Provide guidance mentorship and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices.
• Conduct site audits inspect garden areas to assess condition identify improvements and implement corrective actions.

About You

• Certificate III in Horticulture Parks & Gardens or at least 5 years relevant experience
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
• Valid Drivers license is essential
• Team player with excellent communication skills
