Job Summary

The Contracting Specialist is responsible for managing and processing agent contracting and onboarding for Bobby Brock Insurance. This position plays a key role in ensuring all new and existing agents are properly appointed with carriers compliant with licensing requirements and set up accurately in internal systems. The role supports both the contracting and recruiting teams by maintaining efficient workflows reducing turnaround times and ensuring a positive onboarding experience for all agents.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and submit agent contracting paperwork carrier appointments and licensing documentation.
  • Verify agent information E&O coverage and background checks for compliance with carrier and state requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of agent contracts hierarchies and carrier appointments in CRM and carrier systems.
  • Communicate with agents and recruiters to ensure contracting materials are completed accurately and on time.
  • Track and follow up on pending appointments and updates with carriers until approval is finalized.
  • Coordinate with the commissions team to ensure agent setup aligns with payment and hierarchy structures.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline contracting workflows and improve processing efficiency.
  • Provide timely updates to management on contracting status and onboarding progress.
  • Support the Director of Contracting and other team members as needed in departmental operations.
