Collaborate within a dedicated team in a unique environment as a Chef or Cookat Latchford and Bandiana Barracks in the Albury Wodonga Military Area. This role is suitable for candidates that enjoy bulk cooking with a passion for quality flavour and presentation. Youll get full training and support while working in a dynamic and fun working environment.
The Position:
- Casual part time and full time positions available
- Includes weekend shifts and additional function hours work when it suits you
- Prepare high-quality buffet-style meals for breakfast lunch dinner desserts and special events
- Maintain catering standards comply with OH&S and HACCP requirements and prioritise waste reduction
- Support kitchen operations through inventory management receiving supplies and monitoring cold room controls
- Deliver exceptional customer service in all interactions
The Person:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
- Previous restaurant and or function experience required
- Proven experience in large commercial kitchens.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP allergen management and food safety.
- Passionate about quality with a focus on presentation and attention to detail.
- Goal-oriented committed to personal and organisational success.
