At Carinya Lodge our journey began with a noble mission: to provide homes for widows of the war. Over the years weve transformed into a registered Not-for-Profit Organisation and Charity who own and manage a 60 Bed Residential Aged Care Facility and Retirement Village dedicated to serving our community.
At Carinya the dining experience of our Residents is of paramount importance to us and our Food Services staff are a close-knit team that take exceptional pride in in delivering a nutritious wholesome and tasty menu selection for our residents staff and guests.
This is a rare opportunity to become part of the dining experience that our Food Services team offer on a permanent part time basis approximately 23 hours per week (3 days Mon Wed and Friday) with shifts 10.00am- 5.30pm and 6.45am 1.30pm.
You will need
- A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or commensurate experience)
- Demonstrated skills in providing high quality hospitality and catering in a commercial environment
- Demonstrated skills in contributing positively to a multi disciplinary team
- Demonstrated skills in interacting with older/vulnerable people and their families
- The ability to seek feedback and act upon suggestions and recommendations
