Duration : 6 months
Kick-start your energy career with hands-on experience at Axpo Iberia. Join our Control Center and Market Operations team to learn how a control center connected to REE works and deepen your understanding of power markets and regulation.
What you will do:
- Support daily electricity market operations and dispatching tasks
- Communicate with customers and Red Eléctrica de España (REE) for incidents and compliance
- Help automate and optimize routine activities and workflows
- Analyze operational data to ensure accuracy with REE and market agents
- Prepare operational reports and clear documentation
- Contribute ideas to continuously improve processes and tools
What you bring & who you are:
- Must-have: Last-year student or recent graduate in Engineering Mathematics Economics or similar
- Must-have: Problem-solving mindset and solid computer skills (e.g. spreadsheets basic scripting or data handling)
- Must-have: Interest in electricity markets and renewable energy
- Must-have: Native Spanish and B2 English
- Ideally: Familiarity with Spains electricity system and REE processes
- Ideally: Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Python SQL Power BI) or process automation
