Location: Watertown NY 13601

Shift: Night 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

Duration: 13-weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $2088 - $2268; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate must be comfortable floating between Med/Surg and PCU units and have prior coronary care experience. This role requires excellent clinical skills leadership abilities and the flexibility to work weekends holidays and on-call shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality patient care in both Medical/Surgical and Progressive Care Units (PCU).
Float as needed between Med/Surg and PCU units.
May assume charge nurse responsibilities including prioritization and delegation.
Function effectively in high-stress situations and utilize problem-solving skills.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold hospital policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Current New York State RN license.
Minimum of one successful traveler assignment required; first-time travelers will not be considered.
Coronary Care experience needed as well.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Previous hospital RN experience preferred.
BLS certification required or must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent interpersonal organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts with weekend holiday and on-call coverage.
