Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Cardiovascular open heart and balloon pump experience required
- Accepts first-time travelers
- Unit: 28 beds average census 24 patients
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
- Patient population: Adults and geriatrics
- Every other weekend coverage required
- No call requirement
- Self-scheduling offered
- Scrub color: Royal Blue
Required Clinical Skills:
- Dysrhythmia interpretation
- IV insulin protocol management
- Arterial line management
- Blood product administration
- Central line and PICC line care/management
- IV insertion
- Care of ventilated patients
- ABG interpretation
- Suctioning
Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIH Stroke Scale
- VIP MAB or CPI (in-person courses only)
Additional Information:
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted at application; no RTO allowed in first two weeks
- RTO cannot be changed after submission unless canceling requested days
- 13-week contract assignment
