Contract Duration: 18 Weeks

Local Rate: $59.21/hour
Travel Rate: $68/hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to support Adult Intensive Care Units (ICU) in a fast-paced acute care environment. Unit placement will be based on prior ICU experience. The ideal candidate is clinically strong adaptable and comfortable delivering high-acuity care with minimal orientation or supervision.
This role is best suited for ICU professionals with prior experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma hospitals and familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adult patients
Perform detailed patient assessments and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
Administer medications monitor vital signs and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with physicians respiratory therapists and multidisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
Comply with all hospital policies procedures and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Required:
Active New York State RN license
BLS certification (must be current or able to recertify)
Minimum 1.5 years of recent ICU or acute care experience in a comparable hospital setting
Strong clinical judgment communication and teamwork skills
