Primary Responsibilities
Lead the full project lifecycle on complex data center electrical construction jobs
Define project objectives scopes budgets and schedules in coordination with internal teams and client partners
Develop and implement project execution plans aligned with CVE standards and client requirements
Track and manage labor productivity reports
Oversee train and manage assistant project managers
Monitor construction activities and field operations to ensure on-time delivery quality performance and adherence to all safety protocols
Interface directly with owners general contractors engineering partners and subcontractors
Lead the project team including engineers procurement VDC/BIM and field supervisors to ensure consistent alignment
Champion jobsite safety by promoting and enforcing CVEs safety culture ensuring strict adherence to OHSA NEC NFPA and all applicable regulations
Prepare and manage project documentation including submittals RFIs meeting minutes closeout packages and quality tracking logs
Oversee financial management (forecasting cost tracking invoicing equipment rentals and change order processing)
Negotiate vendor and subcontractor agreements where applicable
Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting on project status resource utilization and schedule health
Travel to and work from various job sites as required; this is a travel-first role supporting national data center portfolio
Qualifications
5 10 years of electrical project management experience with at least 3 years in data center mission critical or large-scale MEP construction
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) OR a journeyman electrician with PM experience
Proven ability to manage multiple project phases stakeholders and field personnel across various locations
Strong understanding of electrical systems prefabrication strategies and emerging construction technologies
Demonstrated experience forecasting cost and labor and controlling overall project financials
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead teams and build client trust
Ability to think proactively identify and mitigate risk and maintain momentum in high-paced environments
Proficiency in project management and construction software platforms (e.g. Procore ACC Build Bluebeam Microsoft Office)
Willingness to travel full-time and relocate temporarily or permanently based on project assignments
Preferred Attributes
Experience leading or mentoring project engineers or assistant project managers
Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to NEC NFPA OSHA and all applicable safety and electrical construction standards
