Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong SQL expertise to join our onsite team in St. Louis.
The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technical solutions leveraging advanced analytical and SQL skills to extract insights support decision-making and enhance business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Gather analyze and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Work closely with business stakeholders developers and QA teams to ensure alignment of requirements and deliverables.
Perform data analysis using SQL to validate troubleshoot and interpret data trends.
Design and execute SQL queries to extract and analyze data from multiple databases.
Support system enhancements process improvements and new implementations.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support production rollout.
Prepare reports dashboards and visual presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Identify process gaps and recommend effective data-driven solutions.

Required Skills

10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or Data-driven environments.
Strong SQL querying and database analysis experience.
Proficiency in requirement gathering documentation and stakeholder communication.
Experience in data mapping workflow analysis and process design.
Solid understanding of SDLC Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Banking Financial Services or Healthcare domains.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau etc.).
Exposure to ETL processes or data warehouse environments.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
