Job Purpose
- Responsible for the overall direction and operations of the Leadership and Professional Development team.
- The scope of this role includes creating the LPD strategy for the Bank and delivering it in consultation with business leaders and HR leaders including the HRBPs and COE leaders
Job Responsibilities
Articulating LPD Priorities
- Manage and refine the Leadership Development roadmap for the Bank in tandem with its business priorities
- Create and deploy the repertoire of professional development offerings that are relevant and impactful
Designing Learning Solutions
- Apply learning theories adult learning principles and insights from leading edge research on learning to craft learning curriculums and courses
- Optimize technology to augment the scale and effectiveness of learning initiatives
Stakeholder/Relationship Management
- Ensure that LPD strategy addresses the business needs for purpose and growth
- Establish and sustain the credibility of the LPD team by demonstrating the highest levels of responsiveness solution effectiveness and outcome orientation and focus
- Adequately communicate the value delivered by regular showcasing of accurate and sufficient metrics Coverage and outcomes
Team and Resource Management
- Provide thought leadership to the LPD team
- Ensure efficient management of capacity capability L&D infra and budget
- Articulate performance expectations and provide adequate performance support for the team to deliver superlative outcomes
Performance Consulting
- Identify potential performance consulting opportunities
- Diagnose causes / identify levers that can positively impact business outcomes
- Design and deliver learning solutions where applicable to build capabilities that will positively impact outcomes
Partner Management
- Identifying partners with best fit capabilities and experience for learning needs
- Ensure compliance at all levels

- Deep and demonstrated expertise in performance consulting learning design/delivery and facilitation skills

Experience Required
- 15 years of HR experience with at least 8-10 years in the L&D function
- Exposure to Banking/Financial services is an advantage
