The SAMS organization connects our global expertise with local customer success. Within this structure the Site & Service Sales team ensures our customers operations perform at their best through proactive engagement aftermarket growth and technical support that drives productivity and reliability.
As part of the Brazil Aftermarket & Account Management team youll collaborate closely with key mining customers in Minas Gerais delivering tailored service solutions strengthening partnerships and creating value at every stage of the mine lifecycle.
Role Summary Site Account Manager
As a Site Account Manager in Belo Horizonte you will act as the primary interface between FLS and our mining customers in Minas Gerais. Your role will focus on managing strategic site relationships driving sales of spare and wear parts upgrades retrofits and services and ensuring customers receive best-in-class technical and commercial support.
This position is ideal for a motivated professional who combines strong commercial acumen with a passion for technical excellence and customer success in the mining industry.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for key mining clients developing and maintaining long-term profitable relationships.
Promote and sell spare parts wear parts upgrades retrofits and services ensuring achievement of assigned sales targets.
Develop and execute regional sales strategies tailored to customer and market needs in alignment with service line objectives.
Supervise and coordinate technical and commercial proposals ensuring accuracy competitiveness and timely delivery.
Implement market-adapted pricing strategies to meet profitability goals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through continuous market intelligence and customer engagement.
Conduct regular site visits to assess equipment performance recommend solutions and identify aftermarket opportunities.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Engineering Product Lines and Service Line Managers to ensure seamless execution of customer projects.
Manage and maintain accurate CRM records for accounts contacts opportunities and sales pipelines.
Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
Uphold FLSs values of integrity safety collaboration and accountability in all business dealings.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Industrial or Mining Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 58 years of experience in technical sales aftermarket or account management within the mining or heavy equipment industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing long-term customer relationships.
Strong understanding of mining processes particularly crushing grinding and materials handling systems.
Excellent negotiation communication and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance technical and commercial priorities.
Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce SAP or equivalent).
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
Availability for travel across Minas Gerais and occasional regional trips.
