Job Summary

Womans surgical team puts you alongside some of the brightest minds in medicine where youll work with leading-edge technology test your skills and knowledge and change the world of health care.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be currently enrolled in a registered nurse program at an accredited school of nursing.
Must currently be enrolled in the equivalent of the junior year of nursing school and participating in a clinical rotation.

Responsibilities of the Nurse Tech position include but are not limited to:

Supports the nursing staff by performing routine clerical and patient care activities and assigned tasks within the scope of his/her training.
Obtaining Preop weights.
Surgical Skin prep cleanse and shaving.
Assisting patients with incentive spirometer.
Accuchecks
Collecting lab specimens
Vital signs/assists with post-surgery recovery and assisting to the bathroom
Performs other duties as assigned by department management according to policies and procedures and the mission of Womans Hospital.

Hours

Required to work at least one 4-hour shift per week.

Pay

$14.18 - $20.03; plus applicable PRN and shift differentials
