Trainer - Training and Talent Development


Summary:

As the Trainer you will play a key role in designing developing and facilitating engaging learning experiences across both systems and operational training programs. While technical expertise and instructional design skills remain central to this role success will come from your ability to adapt whether delivering system-based training supporting property operations learning or helping teams build confidence in new tools and processes. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and operational leaders to ensure that all training programs support business goals enhance associate performance and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with key stakeholders to assess training needs and identify performance gaps across both systems and operational areas.

Develop comprehensive training plans and curricula aligned with organizational goals ensuring clear learning objectives and effective delivery methods.

Design and deliver high-impact training sessions including classroom instruction webinars virtual learning and one-on-one coaching.

Create engaging learning materials such as presentations videos eLearning modules and job aids using modern instructional design techniques.

Incorporate interactive and hands-on learning elements (quizzes scenarios case studies) to drive engagement and retention.

Adapt content and facilitation style to meet diverse learner needs across roles departments and experience levels.

Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback assessments and performance metrics; recommend continuous improvements based on results and learner input.

Provide post-training support and resources to reinforce learning and adoption.

Maintain and update training materials to reflect evolving business practices systems and policies.

Stay informed on new learning technologies and techniques to bring fresh innovative approaches to the training experience.

Requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

5 years of experience in training learning and development or operations within the multifamily hospitality or related service industries.

Formal education or certification in Training Human Resources Hospitality Business Management Computer Science or a related field preferred.

Proven experience designing and facilitating both technical and operational training programs.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in systems such as Google Suite Learning Management Systems project management tools (e.g. Asana) and content creation tools (Camtasia Articulate PowerPoint Adobe Suite).

Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage audiences and adjust delivery to suit different learning styles.

Creative and innovative approach to instructional design and content development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport and instill confidence in learners.

Highly organized proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Valid Drivers License with no major violations within the past 12 months required.
