Job Description
Freeway Ford is looking for a Used Car Technician to join our growing service team. This position primarily focuses on vehicles purchased into dealership inventory fleet vehicles and pre-owned units. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and repair skills as well as the ability to efficiently prepare vehicles for retail delivery while ensuring high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
Perform inspections diagnostics and repairs on used and dealership vehicles.
Identify issues accurately and communicate findings to the Service Advisor or Used Car Manager
Conduct multi-point inspections and complete reconditioning efficiently
Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics using modern tools and software
Maintain repair order documentation in line with dealership and manufacturer standards
Ensure all repairs are completed with a focus on safety accuracy and quality workmanship
Test-drive vehicles to confirm proper operation and repair completion
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Adhere to all union safety and work policies
Qualifications
2 years of professional automotive technician experience preferred
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills highly preferred
Previous Ford or dealership experience is a plus
Familiarity with fleet and reconditioning processes preferred
Proficient with diagnostic equipment and repair software
Strong attention to detail and time management
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
