Job Summary

Job Overview Responsible for supporting the manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products including lab maintenance file maintenance and support in creating materials for batches to meet and Dutieso Cleans lab supplies and glasswareo Builds panels/dispense bottleso Operates glass washers dryers and autoclaveso Creates label files from templateso Assists with the removal and disposal of waste chemicalso Creates solutions powders and liquids for batches to meet specificationso Provides training support for on-boarding and/or new procedureso Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)o Must follow all BD housekeeping policies and procedureso Must follow all BD safety policies and procedureso Must be able to work overtime as required to meet BD business requirementso Perform other duties as requiredQualificationsMinimum Education/Experience:o High school degree with technical certification in the area of laboratory operations plus 1 year laboratory experience AS degree in a scientific discipline with 1 year laboratory experience or BS degree in a scientific disciplineBasic Skills: o Ability to demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skillso Must be detail-orientedo Strong time management skills requiredProficient/Working Skills: o Must be proficient in English with the ability to read write analyze/evaluate charts follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetico Proficiency in MS Excel is required
