About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Accommodation Services Manager to lead the facilities and accommodation services team at ourEngadine home located in the heart of Engadine Town Centre

Shift schedule : Monday to Friday

The role works closely with the General Manager to plan coordinate and oversee maintenance cleaning and laundry services ensuring the facility is well-presented safe and operationally efficient.

In this role you will manage the day-to-day delivery of maintenance cleaning and laundry services ensuring the home operates efficiently meets compliance standards and provides residents with a safe well-maintained environment.

You will demonstrate sound operational judgment attention to detail and the ability to lead and motivate a team to consistently meet service objectives and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Youll lead a team by setting clear expectations maintaining high standards and ensuring the smooth delivery of services that enhance the daily experience of residents. This position is ideal for someone who takes ownership communicates effectively and delivers consistent results.
  • Organise and co-ordinate cleaning and laundry services employees to ensure sufficient and appropriately skilled employees are rostered.
  • Oversee the Preventative Maintenance Programme schedule to ensure maintenance tasks are carried out and completed.

  • Carry out regular inspection of the Home to ensure our residents environment meets the required standard for cleaning and presentation
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents and employees
  • Manage WHS for your area to ensure the safety of you residents other employees and the general public

Essential Skills and Requirements

  • Strong operational management and team coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilities cleaning or maintenance management.
  • Practical knowledge of maintenance tools and safe equipment use.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sound computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and achieve results within set timelines.
  • Current Police Check valid working rights and up-to-date COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience in aged care healthcare or hospitality settings.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
  • Qualifications in leadership facilities management or WHS.
  • Familiarity with Aged Care Quality Standards.
