We are looking for a skilled and driven engineer to join a leading aerospace organization where quality precision and compliance are this role you will lead cross-functional teams through Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations addressing non-conformances production deviations and customer complaints with a focus on long-term solutions.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional team in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations including identifying non-conformances providing solutions tracking issues to closure. Implement projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving
  • Lead quality investigations related to production deviations non-conformances and customer complaints.
  • Review and approve manufacturing process changes validations and product documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Zero PFMEA MPR projects and process optimization.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on quality tools methods and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with leading root cause corrective action (RCCA) and applying quality methodology and tool
  • Working experience with drawings/specs and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Strong understanding of process validation and statistical methods.


Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • Experience with leading root cause corrective action (RCCA) and applying quality methodology and tool
  • Working experience with drawings/specs and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience in process validation and statistical methods

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in any of the following is highly desired: Six Sigma or Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
  • Experienced in 8D quality tools 5 Whys of Root Cause Analysis and SPC analysis.
  • Ability to lead a cross-functional team and provide forecasting to reach established goals.
  • Ability to assimilate analyze and present data to leaders customers and peers.
  • Experiencing interfacing with internal and external customers as well as all levels of personnel.

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD - 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
