Position Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an engaging and enjoyable shopping
experience while supporting daily store operations. This role focuses on meeting sales
goals, maintaining store standards, and representing the Journeys brand in a positive and
energetic way.

Key Responsibilities

•Achieve individual and store sales targets
•Follow all operational and loss prevention policies accurately
•Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom
•Communicate store needs and concerns to management
•Stay knowledgeable about current styles and trends
•Operate point-of-sale systems efficiently
•Complete assigned duties in a timely manner
•Deliver exceptional, full-service customer experiences
•Participate in required training programs
•Model and promote the Journeys culture within the team

Qualifications

•Previous retail or sales experience preferred
•Ability to work efficiently in a high-energy environment
•Strong communication and customer service skills
•Motivation to succeed in a sales-driven role
•Willingness to learn and grow within the company
•Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
•Ability to stand for extended periods
•Capability to bend, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds
