One of the most historic hotels in city the Hilton Boston Park Plaza is seeking a full-time floor steward to join their stewarding team! This 1060 room property has a premier Back Bay location just steps away from the Boston Common and the Public Garden as well as a half mile from Beacon Hill and the Theater District!
The ideal candidate for this position will possess will have two years previous hotel stewarding experience in a high-volume hotel with a union stewarding team.
Shift Pattern: candidates should be available to work both AM and PM shifts as needed any day of the week/weekends/holidays as needed
Pay Rate: $31.45 per hour

What will I be doing
As a Floor Steward you would be responsible for supervising utility stewards dishwashers and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Supervise support and monitor utility stewards dishwashers and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and serviceware for restaurant service
- Supervise cleaning of work area and physical surroundings
- Maintain and deliver proper inventory for food and beverage departments
- Ensure all food and equipment are delivered on time to all functions as specified
- Schedule assign daily work inform and train team members
- Monitor observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
