Position Overview
Superior Skilled Trades is hiring a Site Foreman / Lead Technician for a Global Cloud and Data Centers (GCDC) project in El Paso TX. This direct-hire position oversees field installation coordination and commissioning of complex security and network systems within high-tech data center environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate daily field operations and subcontractors to meet safety quality and schedule goals.
Review and interpret construction drawings specs and BOMs to plan and execute project tasks.
Oversee and assist with installation of access control video surveillance and network systems (Layer 2/3 switches media converters Software House boards power supplies biometric readers etc.).
Perform and document QA/QC Level II and III commissioning and support third-party testing.
Maintain accurate field reports pre-task plans and look-ahead schedules.
Promote a strong safety culture ensuring compliance with all site-specific requirements.
Communicate effectively with project managers general contractors and other trades.
Qualifications
3 years of experience as a Site Foreman Lead Technician or similar role (security integration or data center environment preferred).
Strong working knowledge of access control video surveillance and network infrastructure.
Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings shop drawings and labeling standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office SharePoint or G-Drive tools.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record required.
Relevant low-voltage or manufacturer certifications (Amag Lenel C-Cure Genetec etc.) preferred.
