• Part Time Basis covering weekend shifts
• Competitive pay rate: $34.05 - $45.16 (depending on qualifications and experience) per hour superannuation.
• Based at our McLean Lodge in Flemington (VIC)

Your new role

Were on the lookout for a Recreation Officer to bring joy connection and creativity to the weekends at McLean Lodge in Flemington. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and is perfect for someone looking to balance meaningful work with other commitments.

Your Roster:

• Week 1: Saturday (10:00 AM 3:00 PM)
• Week 2: Saturday (10:00 AM 3:00 PM)

Your responsibilities and duties will include:

• Facilitate engaging onsite activitiesthink games music art and moreeither in groups or one-on-one
• Take residents on offsite adventures (yes may get to drive the bus!)
• Discover and support each residents unique interests and hobbies
• Help residents stay connected with their communities and social circles
• Keep documentation accurate and up to date to meet high standards
• Collaborate with the Recreation Coordinator to keep things fresh fun and meaningful

We are looking for candidates with the following:

• A current drivers licence
• A qualification in Recreation Leisure and Lifestyle (Cert IV or higher)recent grads welcome!
• A warm heart and a strong desire to work with people who have complex needs
• A genuine interest in social justice and making a difference
• Experience in Aged Care Homelessness Disability Welfare Allied Health or Community Care
• A current First Aid Certificate 2 or willingness to obtain one
