About the Role
As a Client Service Specialist youll keep our outpatient clinic running smoothly by managing client communication scheduling records and administrative processes. Youll work closely with clinicians and doctors to ensure each clients experience is seamlessfrom their first call to their ongoing care.
Key Responsibilities
Office & Client Support
- Answer telephones schedule appointments and make client reminder calls.
- Process medical record requests and incoming referrals.
- Verify client insurance eligibility and balances daily.
- Update and maintain client demographic and billing information.
- Render dictation check MassHealth eligibility and handle incoming/outgoing mail.
- Ensure all documentation meets confidentiality and compliance standards.
Administrative Operations
- Maintain client receipts and documentation accurately.
- Order and track office supplies.
- Provide cross-coverage support across administrative functions.
- Assist with departmental projects or special assignments as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of office or administrative experience
- Excellent typing organization and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with computers Microsoft Excel and office equipment
- Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
