About the Role
Were looking for a senior level Pricing Analyst whos excited to use data analytics and business judgment to shape pricing strategies that drive the companys growth and profitability. Youll play a key role in analyzing market dynamics refining valuation models and supporting pricing decisions for thousands of homes across the U.S.
This is a highly cross-functional role youll partner closely with data science finance operations and leadership to inform decisions that have real impact on the business.
What Youll Do
- Analyze Property Pricing and Risk: Assess individual homes for pricing decisions and risk evaluation leveraging in-house tools and model outputs from the Pricing Technology teams your expert validation and valuations will play a key role in the acquisition pricing process.
- Develop Market Expertise: Gain in-depth knowledge of local market nuances to make informed pricing decisions and ensure homes are accurately and competitively priced.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with various teams including sales and homes teams to ensure fair and accurate pricing of properties.
- Special Projects: Participate in projects focused on enhancing pricing operations. Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to improve pricing models and tools.
- Team Collaboration: Work as a cohesive unit with local management and the pricing team to drive pricing excellence.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Economics Finance Statistics Data Science or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
- 5 years of experience in pricing analytics finance consulting or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; SQL experience preferred.
- Familiarity with pricing strategy forecasting or financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills able to turn data into actionable insights.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ambiguous environment and drive results.
- Experience in real estate financial services or tech.
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g. Tableau Looker) or statistical software (e.g. R Python).
- Strong business acumen with a track record of influencing strategy through data.
The base salary range for this positionis $86400.00 - $108000.00 annually plus RSUs and bonus plan. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on your qualifications job-related knowledge skillsand experience. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits including unlimited PTO medical/dental/vision insurance life insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
